Enigma, Ga.

Private McMillan entered service in July, 1918. After a brief period of training in one of the Georgia camps, was ready for over-sea service. Embarked for over-seas the later part of September, 1918, sailing on the ill-fated transport “Otranto,” which was sunk off the Scottish Coast in a collision October 6, 1918. Private McMillan was one of the soldiers drowned.
