Nashville, Ga.

Private Hicks entered service in November, 1918. Was attached to Battery “A” of the 26th Coast Artillery Corps, Ft. Screven, Ga. He had only been in service about three weeks when he contracted pneumonia which resulted in his death at the Base Hospital, Ft. Screven, Ga., November 26th, 1918.

    I have been trying to find more info on this family, particularly Batey’s father. Batey is the brother of my great grandmother.
