Victory Soda Shop

Billy Clement’s Victory Soda Shop was one of the historic businesses of Ray City, GA. The Victory Soda Shop once occupied the western half of the brick building which now stands on the northeast corner of Main and Paralleled Street. The building was erected by James S. and James H. Swindle, prominent residents of this area.

    In the late 40’s -early 50’s there was always a punch board at The Victory Soda Shop and my Daddy won me a Jackie Gleason doll and a blue bracelet from the punch boards which I still own .
